When you see Tim Vine perform you certainly get value for money. He is a joke machine gun, rattling out one joke after another in quick succession. At full pelt Tim sprays out 10 jokes a minute. Keep the laughs short, he’s got a lot to get through.
Star of BBC1’s ‘Not Going Out’ (3 series) and winner of ‘Celebrity Mastermind’ with his chosen subject Elvis Presley, Tim also recently sold-out his debut appearance at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, which led to a cameo role in ‘Neighbours’. Further TV credits include ‘Countdown’ and resident comedian on ‘Richard & Judy’ and ‘Celebrity Fame Academy’ and ‘The Royal Variety show’. He has also played to sell-out audiences at the critically acclaimed Montreal ‘Just For Laughs’ Comedy Festival.
Tim has sold-out five Edinburgh Festival shows and four UK tours and in 2010 he embarks on a nationwide tour with his brand new show ‘The Joke-amotive’.
Tim’s basic philosophy is, “The audience came to hear jokes so I’ll give ‘em jokes” and that’s what he does. He gives them several hundred very silly ones.
