Originally from Bolton, Diane began stand-up in 2004. Trained as an actress, Diane has gained roles in both theatre and television, including Ken Campbell's 'Warp Experience' and Peter Kay's 'Phoenix Nights' for Channel 4.
Her most recent venture has been in the highly acclaimed comedy pod-cast 'Whack My Bush'; a weekly sketch show voiced by Stefano Paolini, James Dowdeswell and herself.

Comedy Background:

Diane has written and preformed her own material for local radio and has regular gigs in and around London on the stand-up circuit.
She has a good ear for accents. Her native accent is Lancashire (Bolton). Diane supplies all the female voices on the acclaimed comedy pod-cast ‘Whack My Bush’.
Diane performed in the ‘Amused Moose Comedy Hot Starlets’ show at the Pleasance at the Edinburgh Fringe 2005.
This year Diane came 2nd in the ‘Hackney Empire New Act Of The Year’ competition. She achieved second place in the ‘Funny Women’ competition final, held at the Comedy Store in London. Diane was also a runner up in the ‘Amused Moose Comedy Laugh Off’ final held at the Edinburgh Festival.
At the Edinburgh festival in 2006 Diane performed in the Hackney Empire show, ‘Four on the Floor’ at the Gilded Balloon.
